Now, I will share with you our Chicken Döner Kebab Recipe:
500 g chicken breast
1/2 cup olive oil
1/4 cup fresh squeezed lemon
3 cloves of garlic crushed
1 tsp pepper
1 tsp red chili powder
1 tsp oregano
1 tsp ground cumin
50 g feta cheese
1 tsp salt
50 g yogurt
1 red onion
If you are allergic to any kind of the above then, leave them out. Aspecialy if you hate cucumbers like a frind of my, for instance 🙂
Preparation time 30 minutes!
If you want to make pita at home, then it will take a longer time, aprox. 90 minutes. But the taste is amazing and it will blow your minde.
Hier is how you prepare the Chicken Döner Kebab:
First, slice the chicken breast in small pieces, add olive oil and spices and then backe for 20 minutes.
You should start by prepare your vegetables first, because when the chiken is cooked you dont want it to cool down. Just add the herbs, a little lemon juice (Optional), olive oil (Optional) and sea salt.
Put in the slice of chicken in the wormd up pita, ad the vegetables, Cheese (Optional), some yogurt and chili powder.
Wrap the pita and your Chicken Döner Kebab is ready to eat!
